Toronto! Day 2

Some of the group walked the long way to the Sky Dome for the Blue Jays baseball game,
to take in some of Toronto's contemporary architecture scene / cool neighbourhoods.
Above is the Royal Ontario Museum (extension by Michael Lee-Chin)

Through Queen's Park

Lots of photo opportunities

Missing something Liana?

Cops (with red striped trousers - new for us!)

Chinatown!

Art Gallery by Frank Gehry - WOW! (says only Mrs Whyte)

No, he didn't go in for a shave.

Ontario Art and Design School - is it held up by giant pick up sticks?!?!?!

Emma at the game

The field in the Sky Dome : Blue Jays (Toronto) vs Oakland Athletic

Go Blue Jays!

We got seats rather high up.

We had to leave the baseball game after the 7th innings stretch (yes, we did actually stretch) to make it to the Marlies Ice Hockey game .... we walked along the lake front to the Ricoh Colesium (nb/ Milne's)

We sat close to the goal - the Marlies ended up winning as well!
It was most certainly an experience! (they stop for commercial breaks!!!!)

Some die hard hockey fans

After the game we took a street car (tram) to the CN Tower: it was FREEZING

Us sheltered at a bus stop trying to keep warm (yesterday was so warm! why could it not carry on?)

We love Toronto!
