Bye Bye Kemptville

So it was a 5:45am pick up - Bob in the Yellow Rocket - from St Mike's to take us to the train station about half an hour away ....
Hard Core Canucks

Not every body had the amount of sleep that is conducive to civility at that time of the morning

Kim, Anne and Bradley (2/5 of the wonderful Leach Family) intelligently took Tim Horton on their early morning mission .... or were we spies from Country Style?????

Messrs Abbott and O'Reilly

Getting on the train at Fallowfields - bound for TORONTO!
THANK YOU TO ALL OUR FANTASTIC HOSTS - FOR SHOWING US SUCH WHAT REAL CANADIANS GET UP TO ..... xxx

    Thanks so much for coming to stay with us in Kemptville! Kim, we so much enjoyed your company in our family home. The kids missed you right away. We truly enjoyed all the neat tid-bits of information that you shared with us about New Zealand, both my family and my math students. You showed us how super-friendly kiwis are!

    MEMORABLE FACTS: NO ice hockey in New Zealand! OMG! Canadians didn't know there was any other kind of hockey! Minus 9 is not cold; minus 30 with a wind chill factor of minus 45 is @#*%$&ing cold. 2 weeks off after each term - how MEAN is that. And a summer holiday, too. LOTR in Hobbiton - I wanna visit :-) And the best of all: Kim says " I'd like to get a large black coffee... and a large white coffee" - you're so cute!

    To all the younger Canadian Club members, I really hope you enjoy the rest of your journey. I hope you eat some poutine, have maple syrup (not with the poutine), see a moose, and enjoy a day of freezing rain (not likely in Toronto especially)-- they can't even drive in regular rain in TO!!!

    And please, please, please keep Liana and Hatley away from Niagara Falls (since they don't read signs). Superman is not real.

    Love,
    Anne Leach,
    St. Michael Catholic High School math teacher

    * hope you come back!
